For the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the old Al-Rayyan stadium is to be demolished and a new 40,000 seater stadium built in its stead.

We are very proud to say that METEK is responsible for designing and supplying the stylish fire-resistant doors for the new stadium. The prestigious project of EI90/120 fire doors and RC2 security doors for the entrances to the VIP Royal Family lounge took one and a half years to complete: These custom-designed models feature special functions created exclusively for the stadium. In the Royal Family lounge, the doors shimmer in splendour with state-of-the-art technological features and gold-plated handles. We wish every success to all involved, and look forward to an exciting World Cup.
